Attention: Tyler, CEO of Saltbox

Hey Tyler, it's Cee. How are you doing?

Thanks for leading by example, fr.

I never circled back to you on how awesome our first call was that actually stunned me in a few different ways. Better late, than never. I never told you how awesome I thought our first call was. It actually stunned me. So after long last, I'd like to reconnect and tell you how.

1. You treated everyone with the care and attention you'd give to investors in your company.

I've never met someone in corporate enterprise — let alone in startups — so passionate and prepared as to give a whole ass pitch deck and demo presentation without asking. Well, it obviously worked. And by now, I bet you've mastered this skill such that it is second nature for you in customer, talent, and investor acquisition deals.

2. I've seen a lot of pitches in Fortune 500. I've seen many in startups now too. You still hold the gold standard.

I wish I had the meeting recorded. If you did, can we watch it together? I've met many founders and executives along the way and you are still the only one who presented the way you did that first meeting.

3. Your relentlessness in time management is a true representation of your company's core value.

All the decisions I saw you make, from early adopting Superhuman to match customer expectations with how your team communicates as a standard, to double-dipping in your pitch practice with calls on your calendar, ultimately reflect back on the smart logistics business you've built.

You might be thinking: Why am I complimenting you out of the blue?

Well, with such a lasting impression, I wanted to do you one up better, save you time, and return the favor. To show you your impact on the people you meet and the lasting contribution you've paid forward to someone like me. And since you shared that experience with me, I too, hope to pay it forward as I now stand on the shoulders of giants who chose the hard road called: Startup.

So let me reintroduce myself:
My name is Cee, and I still live in Seattle.

I say this because my new brand is called CEEATTLE, where consultancy and agency services are now housed. Live Learn Dream, the name you remember, is relaunching as a corporate gift shop to support small business owners and locally-sourced art for employee appreciation and for large volume orders at conference events.
